IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology

Organization created to provide forums to interact and address the challenges and opportunities the application of technology can have for our the world. SSIT maintains a website and produces publications, conferences and local events. Members receive the journal IEEE Technology and Society Magazine and since 1989 have produced The International Symposium on Technology and Society (ISTAS).
